..but what a great one it was!

Thanks SO much everyone, for coming out and helping us have another wonderful festival weekend! It couldn’t have gone any better, and we owe it all to you – the guests, musicians, volunteers, venues.

Now, as I sit around having a nice lazy Sunday, I can’t help but think about all the fun times that were had and all the amazing musicians that performed. Although my ears are still ringing and my feet are still aching, I have so many incredible memories and songs still circling ’round in my head. Also, thanks to the amazing Thomas Pilgrim, there are already photos for us to see documenting every oh!fest event!

Check them out on his flickr site here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pilgrimthomas/sets/72157623930592332/

and stay tuned for Andrew Colvin‘s great photos too!

If any of you have photos from the weekend on your own flickr account, be sure to join the Open House flickr group and add them!

Have a great week!

PS. There is still some leftover merch and paraphernalia from the weekend floating around – pins, tshirts, schedule booklets. If you didn’t get a chance to visit the merch table or you just want a souvenir, get in touch with us and we’ll get it to you!

The Jack Richardson Music Awards!

London’s talent gets some well earned recognition!

This years Jack Richardson Music Awards hosted some fantastic performances and dolled out a number of awards to our small but diverse community of local musicians. Namely, Lido Pimienta, A Horse and His Boy, and Allison Brown each gave stellar performances. If you didn’t catch Lido and AHAHB you missed some incredible dance moves from both acts.

The highlight of the night came when Oh!’s own Olenka & the Autumn Lovers took home the award for “Traditional Folk/Roots” category. Congratulations!

I’d also like to extend my congratulations to both Noise Level (Electronic artist category) and Allison Brown (Contemporary Singer/Songwriter category) for their Award winning work.

Noise Level’s latest release “Conceptual Continuity” is waiting in Grooves for you to pick up and Allison Brown’s album Viper at the Virgins Feet will be out May 15th.

Kittie
closed the awards ceremony and were inducted into the JRMA’s hall of fame! Metal.
