
The Open House Recording Company is an independent Canadian record label operated in association with The Open House Arts Collective. The grassroots label supports independent London musicians by creating commercially viable products through recording assistance, artistic direction, and unique, professional packaging.
The company released a compilation album of 12 London-based bands and musicians on Saturday, March 21st 2009, designed to represent some of the best of the southern Ontario city’s burgeoning independent music scene. Though the company is not genre specific, many artists included in the roster are considered folk and indie rock.
